ZACH GRAUMANN

“(Graumann) hacked the primary with no political experience.”

— Business Insider, 2020

Zach Graumann is an entrepreneur, political operative, author, podcast host, marketing expert, and recovering Wall Street Executive. Most notably, he was the Campaign Manager for Andrew Yang's 2020 presidential campaign, which he took from being called "longer than long shot" (according to The New York Times in February 2018), to polling, nationwide, in the top five, having “hacked the primary” (Business Insider, 2020) in less than a year. Raising nearly $40 million dollars in an average of $35 increments, Yang2020 saw Andrew Yang in seven Democratic primary debates, outlasting four senators, four governors, seven members of Congress, two mayors, and one cabinet secretary. According to CNN, the campaign "didn't just make history... [it] unquestionably put a sizable dent in the future as well."

Zach is also the Co-Founder of two non-profit organizations: Humanity Forward, which has given millions of dollars in direct cash relief to Americans throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and SuitUp, which brings companies into classrooms to increase career awareness and marketable skills for low-income students. To date, SuitUp has hosted hosts hundreds of volunteer events nationwide with companies like Goldman Sachs, Conde Nast, NBCUniversal and LinkedIn, impacting more than 20,000 students and corporate volunteers across the country.

Prior to entering politics, Zach was the Head of Client Philanthropy Solutions at UBS Wealth Management Americas. He and his work have been featured in The New York Times, Business Insider, The Washington Post, Rolling Stone, POLITICO, CNN The Daily Beast, and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Zach is a recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award from his alma mater, Duke University, receiving a B.A. in Public Policy and a certificate in Markets and Management. He regularly speaks as an expert in innovative marketing, entrepreneurship, impact investing, and strategic philanthropy, and, with Andrew Yang, co-hosts Forward, a podcast. He currently resides in Manhattan and is passionate about education, entrepreneurship, corporate volunteering, woodworking, a cappella and the Buffalo Bills.
